Technically the Alpina isn't a BMW as it is recognised as a manufacturer in its own right, so is the RUF.

yep. THey only made a few hundred after its screen debut in a Bond movie. They are super collectible to the various billionaires out there.
Alpina version is even more rare..
Not bad at all on the roads. If there were 450 in US. Not many then in the world and even rarer on Aussie roads. Not really the best day to be driving topless. But if iI had that car I would do the same.

Google. How did we live without it.
can see the appeal to a collector or fan with deep pockets but personally, i'd spend the money on a sls convertible :)
The convertible loses what makes it an SLS.
