  • deal without price?
2 months free but are they the cheapest?
post need more info…quota /month, shaped speed?
should post in forum than a deal!

  • If you download too much, Exetel will sharp you speed like a 90's dialup without notice, only you can do is lodge a ticket to complain, and they just say if you are not satisfied, you can leave, they wont charge early disconnection fee.

Exetel, last I recall, don't auto-shape if you hit quota. They, last I recall, charge $3 per excess GB, but you have the option to opt for shaping to avoid extra fees.

Exetel actively deter heavy users and don't favour P2P. There's also virtually no phone support. Their phone system allows you to lodge a voicemail-style ticket (following prompts).

    • Aye, Aye Captain! very true comments. Stay away from Exehell.

Exetel do have minumin phone & tech support. They like you to try and sort out the prolems yourself, was with them for around 5 years a while back, they are ok if you know what you are doing (connections, modem setups, how to solve your own problems)Cause as mentioned in the earlier posts you lodge a ticket to get support, which will have you waiting a couple of days for a result, which can be a pain in the ass if you fault doesn't allow you to use the net. There are better companies around that offer you better service and a better price, just shop around.

I don't mind people posting deals but at least be transparent. By using the OP's referral number HE gets a $100 credit from exetel. You should put this in the detail. I actually think this isn't a bad deal. Exetel are ok, their plans are ok, and for the exchange I am on, they are best provider available. Neg for poster not deal.

shame on you OP, unless you're happy to share the credit?

DonT bother people Exehell are just that HELL … no support ..when you have a problem its ALWAYS YOUR FAULT was with them for 3 years reffered a good friend to them …. now there no longer a good friend…. Poo Poo this one DONT DO IT

  • I have been with Exetel for ~4yrs, pretty good speeds, but they have crap support,I have been overcharged a least 6 times :P They also change their plans like their underpants, once a week.
There is only one thing I hate more from WP than Nindeals is Exetel minions on the sly making money out of promoting them.

  • So basically this is an attempt by the OP to get referrals? Sorry but neg from me.

  • is this signup clause legal?

CSG protections and rights you are waiving are:
    2. Guarantee maximum connection periods
The CSG prescribes maximum timeframes within which connection to services should occur.
    3. Guaranteed maximum rectification periods
The CSG prescribes maximum timeframes within which rectification of service faults should occur
    4. Making and changing appointments
The CSG requires carriage service providers to:
    * make appointments with customers at times that are convenient for the customer
    * make appointments with customers that are either for a particular time of the day or to nominate a five hour period during which the appointment will occur
    * change appointments by giving at least 24 hours notice or by obtaining the agreement of the customer to the change.
If you so waive the Customer Service Guarantee you will not be able to claim compensation from Exetel for its failure to meet the prescribed performance standards.
This waiver will take effect seven days from the date of you agreeing to it unless you notify Exetel that you no longer wish to waive your rights under the CSG. If you do so notify Exetel then Exetel will not provide the services to you

  • Sign up to Exetel and receive 2 months free if you enter an existing exetel customer's phone number as the referring number. I'll pay $50 paypal when I get the $100 credit from exetel, email [email protected]

  • Thread descending into nonsense.. suggest it is moved t forums or unpublished. Reported yesterday but my cries weren't heard I guess.
