The popular VAVA USB-C Hub is discounted for the first time in ages. The HooToo 8-in-1 is also reduced to $47.19, but the VAVA seems to be the better deal to me
No coupon code required either

Thanks. It's a bit hard to tell of these are comparable given there's no reviews or branding, whereas the Amazon ones have heaps of 5 star reviews and lots of previous listings on ozb. Have you tried those ones and do you think they're ok?
@isthisreallife22: Sorry, never used them - just did a search for price comparison.
For the small cost difference for local stock it is probably safest to go with the Amazon one.
I have the model up from this that supports 4K 60 (I am fairly sure it does as it was one of the reasons I chose it - can't test it out tho as I no longer have a 4K monitor). 2 years going strong with daily use.

Says it only supports 4K@30hz or 2K@60h from your link.
For the Vava 8-in-1, can the PD port be used for data? I have a USB-C sound adapter that I'd like to use (eg. https://www.cablechick.com.au/cables/usb-type-c-sound-card-a…)
The usb c hubs I have only support PD and no data (https://www.amazon.com.au/VAVA-Adapter-Delivery-Ethernet-Lap…)
OK, thanks. Don't suppose there is such a hub that allows connection of other devices…
Edit: Found this one which has 2 USB-C ports https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B086ZRW79P/ref=sspa_dk_detail_5…
I'm guessing these are generics from China masked to be brands like ESR? There's grammatical errors in their descriptions, however the sheer VALUE they bring to the table cannot be ignored.
Does anyone know a version using displaylink rather than displayport? My laptop has no DP out.
Thanks OP.
Does it work with Dex ?
I'd be interested to know this too. Looking for an adapter for mum Tab s6..
I grabbed one before the deal expired. I'll be able to tell you when it arrives. Since it supports power delivery I thought it should be fine.
Tried the hootoo one and whenever I plugged it into my xps or x360 it would come up as "Display connection may be limited". Still ran 1080p at 240hz though.
Any of these can i use for dual monitors plus laptop? Says first monitor connected with hdmi and second laptop connect via this with usb type c?
I am able to do that with a similar USB C hub
So u can have three screens in extended mode not mirror mode right? Do u experience any delay?
3 screens (inclusive of the laptop)
I use for work, so can't comment too much on how responsive it is as my usage is simple
Very new to this so sorry about the dumb question, but how does this compare to this one that I bought from a functional point of view? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/173711338122
Both are exactly the same just different brand…..??
Cheaper 7 in 1 option (without ethernet port) for $38.62…

Note: The Apple adapter is 29W, 30W, 61W, or 87W. If your charging adapter is 87W, there is no way to get 100W.
The HDMI Port: Supports 4K at 30HZ or 2K at 60 HZ.
Compatibility: No driver is needed and our Hub supports all Type-C devices, however some exceptions may apply. You can contact us for return anytime if your device is not compatible.
Heat Generation: When all the functions are in use at the same time, the Hub will get a little hot. We have performed extensive tests and can confirm that this heat will not harm any of your devices or the Hub. Please note a temperature under 125.6℉ is safe.
5.Warranty: We offer an industry-leading 30-day money back guarantee and an 12-month warranty.
Is there any adapter which allows to plug this into ipad which has lightning port?
I’m looking for one of these too!
4K at 30Hz strikes again!
