  • I've eaten a cheeseburger and a chicken burger from this place before, both good. Today was the day I finally got around to trying the Blame Canda. Omg. It was so delicious.

I see they have locations in Newtown and Darlinghurst. Does this contain real meat, like the kind which once had legs?

Not sure why this was downnvoted, its a legitimate questions

Often companies seem to go out of their way to hide this fact

    • Canada is to blame for the best burger in Australia. Do they know this?

      • They'd probably still say sorry.

  • Tastes better at Bar Luca in Wynard

The best burger in the world is Fergburger in Queenstown

    • I would go back just for the burgers haha

only if you are first in line see what i did there? lol

Otherwise your eyes pop out in hunger while you wait 30-60 mins for your number to be called out. Thankfully lots of good looking foreigners to chat up while you wait.

Fergburger is overrated. I went there, lined up for about 45 minutes and got a stock standard burger I could get anywhere.
BL Burgers are better and you don't have to wait in a queue of bucket-listers to get one.

    • OMG yeh,

  • Oh man, that's looks sooo tasty! I'm getting hungry just looking at it.

With their beady little eyes and flappy heads so full of lies

I like the idea of this being a reference to the South Park movie, although it's probably not.

    • +2

The satirical song ‘Blame Canada’ from the 1999 South Park movie lends its name to the creation which features a beef patty, American cheese, maple glazed streaky bacon, maple aioli and poutine on a milk bun. However, the facts surrounding who first suggested the idea, is a somewhat contentious issue, and the source of many a “heated discussions” between the couple. Beyond dispute is that Sarah thought-up the addition of poutine, and James contributed the maple bacon and maple aioli.

How does this compare to the Kyle's Mum Is A Big Fat Burger and the It's Easy Mmkay Burger?

I went through the pretentious burger phase, and am now back to local takeaway burgers. Blame Canada is a pretty good burger, I used to eat one every week, But since I no longer have a BL close by I've discovered a whole heap of places that do pretty good burgers for reasonable prices instead.

      U mind sharing your list?

      • Mostly local cafes and takeaway places that do the old fashioned 'burger with the lot'. I won't post a list because all that will do is prompt a pissing contest. One I will give though is the Fork and Grind Cafe next to MSY in Ultimo. I used to get the Beef Tower Burger (ie the works burger) every time I went to MSY for bits and pieces and it was pretty bloody good.

  • What! No Poutine to go with that!

  • Blame Canada's what?

    • +1

Failure to contain Justin Bieber before he spread beyond their borders.

  • its pretty good if you remove the bacon and built-in chips
