Helping Find My New Android Phone up to $700

hi Ozbargainers.. :)

I'm currently been looking for a new phone for sometime now but can't seem to get my head around one. Smashed my samsung galaxy A7 (2017) over a year ago, so i've been using my wifes Nexus.. which the battery like dead.
so I'm also on here because i used to shop on dwi for my tech but since they are gone, i haven't used anyone else before.. Any recommendations?

Back to phones, I was looking at the Xiaomi mi 9 128gb just under $650ish but since the covid 19 hit/sold out/mi 10 out.
I don't really know what to get. Xiaomi, Redmi, Realme
I don't mind using big phones even though i have a small hands, a few years back used to a note 3.

looking to spend around $700 MAX.

      Second this. I've got an A70 which is good for me, good battery life and decent screen. I hate the samsung software though.
      I used to have a Motorola G4plus (the G8 Plus is the current) and I thought that was a great phone too, clean and simple to use, and well below your 700 mark

    Go grab a Oppo Reno 5G. I really don't think you will beat it for the price point you are looking at.

    I would say s20 is a better deal since it is only $200 more for a phone that's only been out for 2-3 months but out of your budget.
