Messaged Kiwi Design and they were able to offer a deal on these 2 popular Google Home Mini accessories with a record low price on the wall mount.

The $11.99 Google Home Mini Wall Mountis good for mounting your Google Home Mini on the wall or wherever else you have a power point. They reduce the cable mess and both holders connect to each other via magnets. I personally use a few mounted in the bedroom and behind the TV. Gen 2 has been designed to fit AU power plugs.

The $27.59 Google Home Mini Power Bank allows you to use your Google Home Mini anywhere as it has an inbuilt 7800mAh battery that provides up to 10-12 hours of play time. It also has a lanyard attached so you can hang it anywhere.

  • OP - is it just the wall mount that can’t be used with Nest Mini? Or same for the power bank?

    • +1

Both, having tried the wall mount, the nest is too heavy/adapter is slightly larger

Power bank would have mini plug not the nest plug

    • It is tight but I got nest mini to fit

  • Thanks for the heads up! $10.79 for the Black Version :-)

    • +1

      Thanks updated.

      • what is the link on the black one? I get re-directed to the light grey / white version when I clicked the image for the black version.

        • It was removed from the listing when it went out of stock.

  • Thanks OP.
Orange Power bank is $40.99 reduced to $24.59 with Coupon Code.

  • Thanks Clear. Have one of these which was a bit of a tight fit (probably the gen 1) and was waiting to pick a few more of these up.

  • Thanks OP, was just thinking about getting one of these today!

  • 2 white ones for 23! Cheers OP

  • To buy or not to buy……

  • Clear can you do deal on do wall mount for Nest Hub?
Last time it was $22 on https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/471038

  • Black coming up as not available when I try to add to cart.

  • Mine comes up $11.99 after code is applied.
    Anyone else??

That is correct, the $10.79 was for the charcoal which is sold out

I am going to use the 3D printer i bought from a deal posted here to print a couple of similar things. That will work out much cheaper for me.

  • I have one of these and wouldn't get another. I switched to a rigid plastic one that hangs from the power supply.

    • +3

      Do you have a link?

    • How come? Don't the magnets work?

      • +1

I think because the KIWI mount makes the plug next to it unusable. if you have a double GPO.

        • +1

agreed, plus the slightest bump and the magnet is not strong enough and it falls off quite often.

    • explain?

    • The speaker weight made it a bit 'saggy' due to the power supply cover not being that tight of a fit.

  • Is this only 1 use only? Cos I brought the wall mount and I want the power bank aswell.

  • Or FREE if you have a 3D printer
    https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4316097

    • How much is a 3D printer? I wouldn't call it free.

  • Just FYI I bought both the wall mount (Grey) and portable charger. Price came down to $37.29 shipped. I was expecting to pay $39.58.

I bought 2 of these last time a deal was on. I still have the other one unused in the cupboard. It was a very tight fit to get it in, not really made for Australian plugs. If you plan to place the unit in a powerpoint at a medium height be prepared the slightest bump will render it to fall off as the magnet is not strong enough to hold the weight firmly.

  • $11.99 for anyone else?

    • Black was but no longer.

  • Anyone got the power bank and can comment on how well the mini stays in the bank?
Seems like there's a lot of comments about the wall mount magnets not being strong enough but I'm looking at the power bank only.

    • +1

I've had it now for about 6 months and it's never come out. Very snug and seems like it would take quite a bit of force to get it out.

  • Doh! just bought the Kmart stand!

    • which one is that?

  • -1

Magnetic? magnets and speakers don't usually mix.. and in this configuration i'd imagine it would pull back on the speaker coil effectively making it quieter
    food for thought

  • I have one of these and have not had a problem. Mind you it's mounted high on a wall above my shower. Can definitely recommend for out of the way spaces.

  • +1

Second that. I have one of this in my bathroom for close to a year now I think. Not much issue. The Google home is slowly sliding down the magnet part but the rate is so slow that I don't notice it and only need to adjust it every month or so.

  • What about one like this for the alexa mini

  • Wow quick delivery. Ordered when this was posted and received already

  • Bought two and they arrived today. They appear to be 2nds [damaged boxes and fingerprints]. As for the Kiwi, really not impressed. The mini is obviously too heavy for the wall mount magnet. It's only suitable for an out of the way wall socket because it protrudes from the wall considerably which makes it very easy to bump off the mount. This product was a great idea but unfortunately it is very poorly designed. Be thankful if you missed out.
