A lot of people got the "Telstra 200GB" bonus storage for OneDrive around some time in 2016 I believe. Mine is still active and I use it to store my photos and stuff.
I was wondering if anyone was aware what the future of this bonus is. Is it going to continue forever (in the near future)… and if not when do you expect it to expire. It's the best free storage out there for me, as all other services offer 5-15GB on their free tier.
Also when you lose online storage space on any cloud service, what do they do with your data. Do they hold onto it for a bit and try to get you to re-sign up?
if they switch it off and your allowance is lowered, you are given a warning to move your data
if you do not move your data the data remains but you can not access anything that is in the "locked" portion of your storage.
from memory around 12m after this they will delete the data/pics/files in the area above your "free allocation"
