Are bags containing nappies allowed to be biodegradable? I remember reading (a few years ago) that they shouldn't, in case any of the contents leach into water tables.

If you're interested in doing it yourself, there are refill kits from eBay that are significantly cheaper. The kit comes with all the plastic in a roll. You use a tube (included) to fill the cassette. Takes a few minutes for each cassette.

  • What’s the go with the website? Half the screen is filled with a header.

  • What’s the point of biodegradable bags for non biodegradable nappies? Serious question.

    • I’d also like to know

      • Not only is the product biodegradable, it is also made out of a plastic free material. So yes while the nappies themselves wouldn't be biodegradable, it's one less piece of pollution that gathers up. Every little bit counts. :-)
