Yes/No, the price is good, the laptop is good.

It may not be good if you want to play games, but as a general notebook they are good.

Yes it is good a laptop, no it is not a very good bargain.
Lenovo currently upped the price from 499 to $569.

Lenovo website has it on sale prices almost weekly. Good sale is usually $100 off or 15% discount. Just watch out for the coupons codes.
I got mine 2-3 weeks ago for $393 from lenovo website where it went to around 20% off sale.

I bought the Core i5 version of the laptop with 7200RPM drive for $530 (that's also including a 320GB pocket drive).

If you wait a while Lenovo may release coupon codes again.
