Recently moved into a place which has enough space to fit a ~75" to 86" TV. It will be our first ever big TV purchase. Our budget is roughly ~$2000
It's obvious we can't afford the expensive OLED or QLED in this size. Really confused with all the different brands and experiences people have shared. Also haven't seen many good deals coming on recently.
We do want a longer than 1 year warranty period/good customer service provider, good sharp display colour saturation etc, ability for light gaming without alot of lag and good inbuilt software. Energy rating needs to be good. Not really very particular towards anything 8K but we do think that gradually more and more content will become 4K down the line. We are also okay with older models as long as they are good and in a good price point.
Our current TV is a dumb $200 32" no brand Chinese LED connected to a non-4K Chromecast and a $40 Logitech computer speakers. This setup has been going strong since 2016.
I pick up a TCL 75 inch from Good guys for $1160 +
TCL 2.1 Channel Sound Bar TS7010 for $195 @ Retravision
Great low budjet setup.
