Suggested TV Shows for Apple TV? Free for 1 Year with Mac/iPhone Purchase

So I just purchased a new Macbook Pro that includes 1 year of Apple TV, free. I didn't realise this so a nice little bonus. I was about to try Amazon Prime but thought I should seek suggestions for Apple TV before that. For context, recent Netflix shows I like:

Vikings
Mindhunter
Locke & Key
Altered Carbon
Nightflyers
The Umbrella Academy

I also enjoy shows like Final Space, F is for Family, Castlevania, Archer. Pretty big fan of some earlier 2000's style British comedies: Black Books, Peep Show etc.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

    I had it and cancelled it. It had like 10 shows in total. Waste of money at this point

      Lot more options now
      And Apple is poised to spend millions on a buying a large slate of old shows etc.
      I agree it’s not worth the money but when it’s free it’s a good value proposition.

          Mythic Quest is a MUST WATCH

          and soon we get the new Tom Hanks movie which skipped the cinema due to covid-19 *(apple won the bidding war for it.. paid $70M)

            @jimbobaus: Cheers, I'll check out Mythic Quest (seems similar to Silicon Valley almost?). Defending Jacob looks like it could be good too

    I have it free too.

    The Morning Show was quite good and Dickinson was more amusing than I thought it would be, haven’t watched anything else yet.

        Servant is probably a waste of time. Watched two episodes and hardly anything happens. It is all about the atmosphere with that show. If you have a lot of time on your hands and just want to fill it up go for it otherwise not worthwhile

    I have it for a year free since I bought a new iPhone 11 Pro
    But to be honest, haven't really watch anything on it, still using Netflix, Stan and the internets lol

    Didnt like anything on it except "Defending Jacob".
    "See" has some great visuals but pretty lame storyline.
    "Morning wars" was meh IMHO

    I feel like Apple is going with "safe" and very family friendly offerings for the most part. They are spending a lot on star power and production value but most of the shows are quite meh
