    Yeh curious to know why it was banned also. Not like you can do that much with these bands.

    I can maybe understand something like the Vtech DX2 that has games and a camera on it (and for some reason cheaper than these too, $59 at Amazon)

      Banned at my son's school as well, likely because these things serve as a distraction to the kids attention in class, and in turn it ends up distracting other kids.

      The other reason feeding into it would be parents complaining when the watches are confiscated or the child loses or damages them.

      I saw it myself when dropping off my son to school one day, a year 2 girl in his class recently got one of those VTEC watches and couldn't stop playing with the watch at every opportunity. Poor kids, so distracted by technology at such an early age.
