Cordless Vacuum Cleaner for Small Apartment

I'm looking to buy a cordless vacuum cleaner for a small apartment. One small room with carpet and the rest is tile, with one medium pile rug.

I am looking for suggestions with a (max) budget of around $300 - $400.

Kmart vacuums are really good.
If it's only for one room I would suggest looking at Kmart: https://www.kmart.com.au/category/home-&-living/home-by-cate…

And that said, even if it was for more than one room I would still suggest Kmart.

Edit: Buy one and try it before you consider buying a more expensive vacuum, Kmart has a good return policy if you don't like it.

    Point taken but I maintain that if it is for "one small room" go get a vacuum from Kmart.

If you're already into a tool ecosystem like Ryobi One, you could look into their brushless vac stick for example.

+1 for Xiaomi Dreame. Pops up on sale quite often too and works as well as the more expensive Dysons.
