I think it varies from state to state, and perhaps even council to council, but where I live cats need to be microchipped and are not allowed off the owners property, so the 'benefits' of this collar are not relevant here.

What point are you trying to make?

    • I have spoken sternly to both my cats and warned them that there will be no cat treats for a week if they leave our property, they both meowed, i think they got the message! (Both are microchipped already). This could be handy if the cats were found by somebody other than the authorities, ie someone that doesnt own a microchip gun.

    • I buy one before, put on my cat and now she's gone. If you find my cat please give back. On collar is say Free Cat.

Same or similar product cheaper on eBay: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Custom-Embroidered-Personalized-…

$9.53 via eBay vs. $10.8 on brand store is pretty damn close though.

Spiffytags is a company located in Shenzhen as is the eBay listing. I'd rather deal with eBay buyer protection than directly through the store if you have any issues.

Orders placed on the website are also protected by PAYPAL. There are no security issues. Your malicious attack is extremely immoral!

@Spiffytags: I wouldn’t start name calling. To post on this site, your deal needs to be the cheapest. You got called out because RhysK has found it cheaper on another Shenzhen based seller. It is perfectly fair. Having a website does not mean you are a brand store. In terms of security, I’m sure PayPal through a known site eBay is safer than your private site.

Simply put, you don’t just get free advertising from Ozbargain for free. You also need to offer competitive pricing.

@Spiffytags: I didn't say you had security issues. My original comment was purely to point out that the product can be purchased cheaper elsewhere, which is what OZBargain is about. It isn't a website for you to advertise on freely without accepting that people will be able to express their opinions on what you post.

        • re. eBay protection, good point.
