    • +3

You tried something like this? https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/188208/gol…

Personally I couldn't stand them when I was on keto.

Aren't you allowed to just go fry a whole kg of bacon and eat that then?

    • Slice some salami thinly and place on a paper towel in the microwave.

If you don't lose the weight, then she divorces your fat ass, gets half and rides Chad.
So stop your bitching, she's trying to help you out. You're the one who got that fat in the first place.

I miss the jalapeno Pringles wish they would come back

    • i'm pretty sure i've seen jalapeno pringles at the reject shop werribee (vic) a few days ago.

      • If they were in North Brisbane I would get them

  • Aw man I feel your pain … keto as all diets should be banned ….says the man who has to loose 97 kg…sigh

Is this the made in Malaysia or made in the US version?

    • +1

Photo seems to suggest Malaysia :(

      • +3

        Thanks, I'll pass then…

        • Are they much worse?

          • +1

@flashi007: Very unhealthy, fried using palm oil

  • +7

Any one else remember when these were 190g? Down to 134g now.

    • +2

Yeah they are shit now, a lot smaller than they used to be.

These went to sht when they went to Malaysia.

  • Aren’t these $15 at Costco

    • +2

It's currently on special, $10 for 6 Sour cream & onion at Costco. Mum bought some yesterday :)

  • +3

the way my StarTrack driver throws boxes around, I'd end up with 12 tubes of chip fragments.

    • Can confirm, i bought the Sour Cream and Onion and they're all sawdust. Still, dat salt doe…

    • Perfect to use as crumbling to make fried chicken!

  • +2

If I had 12 tubes of this sitting at home, I would be in a salt coma….
Resisting for the sake of my kidneys.

  • +2

Imagine the powdered potato you'd end up with 😂 Pringles are hit and miss at the supermarket, let alone delivered by my postie

  • Is it me or have the size of the tubes and chips themselves shrunk over the years?

    • +1

Between the size of the carton and the size of the chips it seems to have shrunk by half the size compared to when they first came out.
Sure seems to be a LOT of 'empty' after you open a can these days. And they can't really use the 'argument' conventional chip makers use that the extra space saves damaged chips. Let's face it, given the way Pringles are packaged, surely to pack the container full would result in less damage (as the chips could'd bang back and forth so much). Still I'm sure marketing people can put some BS spin or 'good reason' for it.
Sadly seems to apply to sooo many things.

Very unfortunate. Domino's "large" pizzas, haven't had them in ages and ordered a bunch of them recently and was so close to calling them to ask if they gave me mediums by mistake.

        • +1

I know that feeling. Back in the day a 'large' pizza was truly large.

    • +1

Yes, stopped buying Pringles ever since this debacle.

      • Reduced can width, hand can't fit inside now.
      • Reduced weight from 150g to 134g.
      • Price was decreased by a measly 5c at the time, but went up much higher within weeks.
      • Recipe used by Malaysian factory is worse than U.S.

At this point, even the supermarket brand equivalents are better value for equally mediocre flavour.

      • +1

In france we have still have them in 180-200g sizes. So coming back home to Aus and seeing the can and the size of chip I thought somethin' ain't right here…

  • Isn't this the usual price on Amazon?

    • +1

      Normal price is $30.

If only these were American Pringles.. I think Reject shop use to sell them. These Malaysian ones are so tiny

    • It didn't actually register with me that this change (made in Malaysia) had taken place and been effected.
All I know is that when I saw the difference (smaller chips, more 'air' in container AND smaller size container) I rarely buy them anymore.
Not to mention someone else's comment… the oil used when making in Malaysia is even/much worse than when they were made in the U.S.

    • Costco used to stock the real deal a few months ago, but haven't checked since then.
