Cheap Paint deal had bought a few of them. Seem to do their job. After all only 3 bucks for a 250 g can.

Dont know the expiry date.

Great on other ppls exterior walls?

    • Id say you'll need to make sure you get no water on paint (8 hrs or something) if you can't manage it it will leave paint marks on hand

  • Says 250g not 350g

How do these paints compare to the export paints normally sold at Supercheap auto for $10 for 4 cans?

    • These are much better than Export.

Depending on Age, ppg or rustoleum own it. Afaik

      • Nice one. Export paints are really crap… But oh so cheap.

        Will check out these ones

        • These are not too bad but take ages to dry and yo you'll need to prep surface before applying that is sand properly

      • Well played… I bought the cans and compared them to my export paints… Same manufacturers.. MMP.
Likely the same crap with a different label.

        Colour palette is the same.

    • Sorry ihave corrected it

    • Sca s deal 4 for 10 is over i think

No. Well, you could, look up "rustoleum paint job" on YouTube, but its not technically the right paint.

    • I was tempted to use this for my car too and at the end the color doesn't end up too bad on other objects like tools etc.
But i didn't use it on my car silver can and my car were totally different looking.

I probably would buy a cheap base coat and spray like 2 coats of it and then 2k clear coat
Make sure to use a 2k clear coat for longer lasting paint job you can get one from Autobarn or if cheaper from eBay.

  • I'm confused. If I had some spot rust on my Ute chassis could I use this stuff? Obviously prime first etc.

    Cheers

    • Can't add to cart anyway.

      • It's usually 4 for $10 quite often at Supercheap auto too.

    • You need to sand and remove all the rust first. Use rust converter.

Clean, prime, paint. Won't look great, but surely better than the rust spots.

      • Yeah definitely prep first but is this grade of paint "any" good for that sort of thing?

Obviously it wont be like Rustoleum. Just seems too cheap!

        • It'll be ok. Prep is key.
