hmm odd, actually for me it says $299 but 1/2 second later it updates and says $295. It must know from location or something to change the price.
tossing up getting this or waiting for zen 3 to be released as i'm not in an immediate need a of new pc and really want something better than a 1650lp for the sff pc i plan to build

Mate, this CPU is a deaktop version, and ur E595 is laptop……CPU of laptop is usually welded firmly on the motherboard and cannot be replaced easily.
No, almost nothing is upgradeable in a laptop. Sometimes the RAM and HDD are, that's basically it.
Even if it was, this is a desktop CPU, not a laptop CPU. Very different.
