  Hi. Does the flashlight run on one 18650? I assume this is necessary to get anywhere near 300 lumens?

    Looks to me like it takes 4 AAA according to one of the pictures on Amazon.

      Nah it takes 3 x AAA as do most of these type of torches as Jim mentioned. Most will take a single 18650 for much better light output but not all so I want to know from greatstar tools if this can handle it without overheating etc.

    All the flashlight torches I bought that takes 3 AAA , can replaced by 18650, only once the torch was little short, I have to use flat top one.

  LOL! Any torch with tactical in the title …. avoid.

  Check out Budget Light Forum if you want lumen for buck.

  I still have a 3xAAA torch purchased from the local servo for JR's camp many years ago before I knew better. Keep it for giggles. My smallest torch Utorch S1 Mini outshines it.
