This is currently $56.96 on the Epic Games store.

It's $71.96 AU for the standard edition on Epic.

Nope, further $15 discount on checkout.

        • So it is! My bad.

    • +4

Only if you have a $15 voucher, which anyone can get by downloading GTAV Free. Yes purchasing the free game, gives you a $15 voucher.
If you purchase RD2, you then receive another $15voucher.
Witcher 3 is also good value (~$8 with the above Free voucher) and it gives you another free $15 Voucher.

      • Mm, I get a "cannot download any more free games" when I try to get GTAV.

I guess their server is bunk.

        • +1

That’s due to using same IP address. Someone from your office already got one. Try mobile network then it will work. ;)

  • Anyone who hasn't played this yet should pick it up

      I wasn't a fan, I found it slow and boring….

      • +6

Found the same… was the most over-hyped game and disappointing game of 2018 for me. Very realistic and graphically beautiful to the point of not being fun because of how tedious it is. And hated how much I had to follow their script during story missions else I'd fail the mission entirely. Really took me out of the experience.

Yep, same. Each to their own though, i know a lot of people find this style of game very entertaining - visually and mechanically its great just too slow for me.

      • i found it boring too and actually stopped playing it, then came back to it after like 2 weeks and finished it, and now its one of my favourite games.

        • Still my favourite game I’ve ever played, could spend hours just roaming around random places in the map

  • RDR2 on gamepass for those that have the sub.

you are pretty sure you may be wrong?

  • How well does this game run for a gtx 1070? I can't tolerate fps lower than 60

  • Which platform is better for this game epic or rockstar or steam?

    • +3

they both launch the Rockstar Social Club Launcher and use the same servers from there.

I considered it providence that Epic gave me GTAV for free this morning, plus a $15 voucher. So I bought the super deluxest version on Epic, $68 after $15 off.

I would have preferred steam but Epic has bought my eternal loyalty by giving me a huge list of games I will never install.

Plus, super deluxe version is $140 from RockStar direct.

      • yeah i just did the same.

        Thanks for the info.

Yeah that is why I like Epic aswell because of the deals. Have a huge list on both steam and epic now while a few on uplay and just GTA on rockstar launcher but got GTA again on epic

        • my understanding is that when I get around to installing it from Epic, that I will still enter the game through the rockstar launcher
