There is a lot of information out there and I always end up spending a few hours trying to research the best option for me each time my plan is up for renewal. I guess the closest thing to getting a personalised recommendation is posting here on OzBargain, but was wondering if there was actually a trusted service or something I could provide my key factors and pay them $5 for them to just tell me what is best option for me.

lol sure, if it could do that even better. but more for things like internet plans, mobile plans and insurance type stuff.
There are a few comparison sites; but you need to compare those to identify if they cover all providers etc.
yeah that is what i mean, i wish i could just skip that and essentially get a "ozbargain" expert on that topic on demand.
