it says approved online retail websites that means somebody would have reviewed the websites before including them in the list.
some of the websites listed doesn't make any sense because they don't sell anything or don't sell the products which will be available to buy in the eBay so why those sites were in the approved list.
How can we request eBay to add more websites to the list.
From what I can see (at least the electrical retailers) they seem to be ones that ebay frequently have on their 10/15/20% off sales where Ebay subsidizes a half of those discounts.
So it wouldn't surprise me if they have some sort of arrangement whereby if reseller website is cheaper, they automatically approve the discount through ebay as a preferred reseller requirement (or something like that). It wouldn't be considered price-fixing as they are kind of matching themselves.
