I'm planning on picking up a racing wheel soon - What are the best games to pick up and use it with? At this price Assetto seems worth the risk so I'll start with that.

    • This is definitely worth the $$$. Assetto Corsa has a lot of mods available so you can pick up some less common tracks for a bit of fun in addition to the main ones. I have quite a few different racing sim games but AC+iRacing is really all i use, with plans to buy Assetto Corsa Competizione too.

If you're into it, may be worth looking at something rally based or F1 2019/20 etc if you're after those specific things. I don't think you'd regret Raceroom, Rfactor, Project Cars and so on either.

    • I've put in 300+ hours of Assetto Corsa, using only the official cars, but official tracks and custom tracks.

There is a huge variety of cars available, and once you find a car and track combination that you like it's so much fun improving times over and over again. My person favourite is the drift AE86 up the Trento-Bondone hillclimb.

I've played maybe 10 hours of online, and about the same in regards to racing / career mode as well.

I have all the DLC and I would say anybody that has a computer capable of running AC and has a racing wheel and pedals will find value of this game at ~$14.

  • Project Cars 2 is good too. And get a dirt rally game as well for some sideways action.
