Clothing not fitting appropriately

Why is it every time I buy a jumper after I wash it they always end up really short and riding up my back. But the front is ok.

mine shrink over the summer months, have to buy new ones each winter i think it has to do with using those vacuum bag things.

Wash woollens/knits in cold water and do not tumble dry and they are less likely to shrink.

I learnt this after hot washing and drying a hand knit my spouse took months to make. I am now careful and the kid’s doll has the best jumper around.

    • Also check the label and material. Some materials cannot be tumble dried too

    Stop eating so much

  • Hand wash in tepid water, use proper wool wash, try to dry fairly flat.

  • Cold gentle wash.. hang on line to dry.

  • clothes shrink 30% after multiple washes

    • 76% of stats are made up

        That’s not true, it’s something like 63%.

        • The worst thing is that 32.5% of people won't believe it!

  • Cos of your mass chest gains.

  • Leaning too far forward over your laptop while on Ozbargain. Jumper's fine, posture's not.

  • you are washing it wrong.

  • Check if you're washing it right, some can only be cold washed and may required special wash mode in your washer.

Also, check if you need to dry it in a special way. Some wooly jumpers require you to lay it flat to dry instead of hang dry to maintain symmetric structure.

  • Hand wash.

  • Are you following the washing instructions strictly?
The material the jumper is made from will dictate the washing regime which you should be following or else that is what happens…
