Before Virgin Australia entered voluntary administration on April 21st, a few (thousand) people redeemed points for gift cards.
For example, I ordered one on April 15th. I still haven't received it and when I e-mailed the response was generic but seemed to suggest it hadn't been sent:
Thank you for your email.
We received your order on 15/04 and our suppliers are currently processing the order for shipment. Please note that due to high demand for online rewards as well as delays with fulfilment and postal deliveries, there may be delays in the delivery on your online rewards. Thank you for your patience.
So my question the forum: have you received the gift card you ordered in the last week before Virgin's administration?
I'm holding off on purchasing clothes because I'm expecting the gift card but I'm now not sure about that strategy.
