I'm thinking of buying a new HDD for my laptop. Was thinking of buying something that's 7200rpm and of at least 750gb memory. I'm pretty sure I'm looking for a 2.5" HDD just in case you're wondering.
I've tried looking around, but have no idea where to start.

1) Is it a standard sata connector?
2) What is your laptop, this way it helps to make sure it will work on your system ie size, they do start at 1.8"
