Hmm, went looking for external reviews of the Sanglier GST.
"This is a surprisingly fleshy wine with plenty of broodiness and spice to balance bright aromatic notes too. Well. It’s smoky and reductive, peppery and red fruited. It’s a sinewy red with pretty floral/bubble gum elements, plenty of smoky spice plus red berried fruit, of which it has plenty. It’s not dense or dark or anything like that; it’s frisky and elegant, but with the substance to back it up. Very delicious. Region: Clare Valley"
Not quite sure whether I want my glass of red wine to taste broody or like bubble gum.
Nothing really standing out alas. $25 credit burning a hole in my pocket.
