Hey guys, I'm looking for a security camera to place at a remote property, the idea is to use motion detection to get alerts to my phone.
Mains power is available as is wifi, however internet is via Skymuster with very low data limits so I would need something that doesn't stream constantly.
Budget is around $200. Any advice would be appreciated
Have a look at Blink XT2. This would cost a little bit more than $200 but would be perfect for this purpose. Data usage is extremely low as it transmits only when motion is detected and batteries last forever and also has a solar power option. I can personally vouch for these as I have 3x in use at home.
