The local Kmart had one of the Hunger Games novels for $2, I'm unsure which volume. The clearance prices are usually national or so it appears from previous OzBargains.

The Hunger Games is awesome but I wouldn't start the Song of Ice and Fire Books unless you like waiting another 10+ years to see what happpens.
