      Seriously checkout the Vodafone TV, does everything the Chomecast Ultra does + so much more. Pretty much what the next gen Chromecast Ultra will do. I couldn't be happier with the Vodafone TV for value and functionality.

        I heard though that when you update to Android 9.0 it lag's. Is that true?

          I've not noticed any lagging. It auto updated after I took it out of the box, so I don't have a before / after experience

          Screen casting a is a bit laggy, but yeah

      Only downside seems to be that it requires it's own RF connection. Can you use it as a Chromecast without the RF plugged in?

    I got lucky on gumtree and got one for $40 or $50. It was used, but great condition and I've had it for like 6 months no dramas. So yeah, try FB Marketplace or Gumtree

    I bought a 'B' stock with power supply. A few scratches on the top, clean overall, power supply looked new. Working behind the TV perfectly. Shipping is quite fast as well

    There don't seem to be sales on the CCU often. I assume it runs a pretty narrow profit margin. I think looking for a second hand one would be your best bet.

    Costco is $88.99 for the Ultra. You'll have to go instore.
