Free First Month / $12 USD First Year ($18.93 AUD) @ Namecheap VPN

60

With all the VPN deals out there, I thought I should share this.

I've tried NordVPN, Windscribe and Seed4.me, but found that Namecheap VPN is fast and reliable (as good as Windscribe).

I use a router with VPN client capabilities to allow my Samsung TV to have VPN access.

If I were to rank all four of them:

Namecheap - fast, reliable and support for older VPN protocols
Windscribe - fast and reliable
NordVPN - fast, when it works
Seed4.me - not as fast as the rest

IMHO Price is a factor but what is more important for me is that I can access the internet at "acceptable" speed always.

It seems you can only sign up for one or the other in this deal?
If you use the free month offer the 1 year sub is then $18.93. If you want 1 year for $12 you can't use the free month.

I signed up for the free month. Using their Denver Colorado server allows US Netflix access and it's streaming to my phone without issue :)

  • Does anyone know if this VPN is good for accessing free to air TV from another country such as Italy? I see they have servers in Italy.

Price is in USD, not AUD. The 12 month converts to AUD18.93.

    • Thank you @chewkl

      • Thanks. I appreciate it.

  • How to configure router and install VPN on router?

  • Do you know if this VPN works with Amazon prime video app (American site)?

    • I don't think I've found a VPN that works with Amazon Prime Video US content.

  • Correction, Windscribe and NordVPN works with Amazon Prime Video US content. I never got Namecheap to work.

    • Hit and miss, Namecheap VPN worked with Amazon Prime Video US content.

Currently using for Hulu, Disney+, Tubi, VUDU, Netflix, Amazon Prime US, and CW.

  • Just cancelled membership, VPN not supported for a media player running stock Android OS….

    Any suggestions?

    • For me, I bought a router that has VPN client capabilities.
