Greetings everyone, sent over a message to TA to ask what the Apple promo is (as advised here and he told me 7% from 10am. Ends midnight tonight, then drops to 6% for tomorrow. After that, it goes back down to 1.5%, so be quick!

Seems like an awesome increase from CR for the Apple & Apple Education Stores :)

Haven't seen an increase like this in quite a while, and an awesome addition with the inclusion of the education store for further discounts.

            @solidice: An update from Apple to alleviate concerns. Cashback tracks to member accounts 2-3 days after you receive confirmation from Apple that the product is ready to be shipped. We've updated the terms on site to reflect this.

              @tightarse: Yea I thought that's the case. Oddly enough, Apple charged me Sat morning for AppleCare and then only charged me for the laptop late Sunday evening instead of just charging me both in one transaction.

            • @tightarse: Never got the product is ready to be shipped. Got the shipping email and SMS couple of minutes back with the tracking nos for both orders. No cashback tracked yet on Cashrewards , hopefully should be soon.

              • @regenade: Ok, according to Apple you should therefore now track in the next 2-3 days. Let us know how it goes.

    Hi TA, do we need to be using the same email at the checkout page as what we have on cashrewards? I think I used logged to my icloud account at the time of purchase.

      No, makes no difference. This is fine provided you clicked out from Cashrewards prior to purchase.

    Did it track for people who got their shipped couple of days back. It's a pretty big purchase so if it does not track would need to go back to Apple as JB almost run a 10% off + 5% off using gift cards once every few months.

    Ordered a a base MacBook Pro 13 with 16gb ram on 7/05, yet to receive any Cashback communication. My item status is shipped from Apple.

    • Me too. I’m at day 3 post shipping and still haven’t had a tracking notification :(

  • Ordered iPad Pro and Pencil together on the 7th. Apple decided to ship them separately. iPad was shipped on the 8th and got cash back tracking for the iPad only on the 9th. Apple Pencil was shipped on the 12th but have yet to receive cash back notification for it. I wonder if I will ever get cash back tracking for the pencil since the iPad is already tracked and is from the same order.

      • Yes, the iPad was shipped from Chengdu and the (engraved) pencil was shipped from Nanjing.

    TA has updated that it might take 2-3 working days after items have been shipped out by Apple, so lets hold our horses till tomorrow and hope it all tracks :D

They are trying to establish why the order is yet to report out of the affiliate network to Cashrewards, but you have nothing to be concerned about.       • Just wondering why my Apple Pencil hasn’t been tracked yet.

        • We had other instances of this where iPads tracked to CR accounts then a few days later the pencil was auto added by Apple to the existing CR transactions. Has this happened to you?

          • @tightarse: My iPad was tracked on the 9th but I have still yet to receive a tracking confirmation on the pencil and it was shipped three days ago. Apple sent me two invoices (one for iPad and one for Pencil) as they were shipped separately but they belonged to the same order. Should I keep waiting?

            • @FrugalNotStingy: I understand this. Ignore the secondary tracking notification. Please check your CR acct and tell me if the transaction amount and cashback have changed/updated to reflect both products. Thanks.

              • @tightarse: The cashback amount hasn’t changed. It is still the same amount as initial amount when it was tracked. i.e. iPad cashback amount only.

  • Anyone else buy the Education Pro Apps bundle. I got an email with the keys a few hours later and added all four .. but didin't really look / have time to check before goign to bed.
    A week alter I got another email sent from Apple with the keys in it again.
    This time the last key was different and looking I realise Mainstage wasn't installed… and out of the key list it was the only one that had changed.
    I tried the original key again - it told me it was used.
    I tried the new key and it accepted it .. but looking in LaunchPad it showed it was downloading Motion again (perhaps a co-incidence and it was updating??)
    Anyway still do not have a copy of Mainstage.

    Anyone else get this?

    • Contact Apple to have it sort out. Regardless if you have had your cashback tracked, you really did pay for the apps with your real money and the keys should all be valid and gives you the ability to install the apps at will.

      Hi blehbear. Apologies for the long delay in responding. I was awaiting confirmation from Apple.

      If this is shipped back via an online initiated return, then it will be fine. If however you choose to exchange in-store, it becomes a little more complicated and they may decline the cashback as the order ID changes. We can & will however follow up on your behalf if the transaction is declined. As long as your transaction is validated to have been exchanged, Apple will honour the transaction and Cashrewards will pay out the cashback. Thanks.

    Are you the person who got a MBP 13” with a dented edge out of the box?
    I was wondering the same thing. If we were to replace something that is not quite right would we still get our cashback?

    Hello TA, I have purchased the new 13 inch Macbook Pro from the Apple Education Link at the top on 07/05/2020. However, after I received it last Friday, I still haven't received the cashback. I contacted Cash Rewards support, and the support called Denies told me that this laptop is not eligible for cashback. I'm totally confused, are you able to help me out here?

    • Hi. There’s certainly still delays with Apple reporting a small percentage of transactions during the promo. Please PM me your CR email address and a screenshot of your Apple invoice. Will look into this tomorrow for you, and will speak with Denies. Thank you.
