  • how does this compare to 3DS

    • +1

      incomparable

    • +5

      Better graphics and easier

      • +3

        Also better gameplay.

  • +3

Bit annoying the exp costs so much more. Like many DLCs

    • +3

I'm a die hard fan and I'm still waiting for a sale on Iceborne.

      • +1

Same, but I was also waiting on a good price for this as well as I already finished everything on PS4. I might buy at $20 though, cheers OP.

    • that sucks about today's gaming. you pay more for the dlcs. ridiculous.

    • To be fair, iceborne basically doubles the amount of content in the already large base game, and could've released as a standalone game.

  • +1

Man this game is such a grind.

    • I mean if you're good enough and with some luck you could finish low rank at least with minimal effort.

      • +1

Definitely, you could go through high rank also without grinding. The grinding comes when you know what you want to create that perfect set.

        • Thought about HR but at some point I reckon you wouldn't be able to pump out enough damage in the time limit. I did mention the luck, that's for mats to upgrade weapons. But even then I think you'd need HR weapons to kill nergigante at least.

I think the fun of the game comes from both killing a monster and then basically learning how to dominate it in future encounters. I have 300+ hours in MHFU and I would still go back if I hadn't done everything already.

          • +1

@SnowDragon: Yeah I've played since PS2 days, great games.

  • For experienced players, should I buy Iceborne along with this base game? Or is it fine to buy it after I complete this?

    • +1

I recommend the former since it's probably cheaper. You can buy it later too but then you'd be stuck on the same boat as us; waiting for a decent price on Iceborne by itself.

      • +1

Thanks for the advice. I will get the Iceborne Master Edition then.

  • Hello,

Don't know if I'm missing something but when I'm in cart to checkout it shows as 23.99. Do you need to be logged in?

    Thanks,
