Anyone got any good source for RGB strips that have wifi enabled (so I can use my google home to change colour and turn off etc).
I know there are popular brands like HUE etc, but they cost an arm and a leg. I’d rather get some off amazon or eBay but there are a lot of sellers.
So if anyone has recently bought some, link your source. I’d love to buy some.
If you want Google Assistant support, you're looking at a branded product like Yeelight Strip, which while cheaper than Hue, is still much more than el cheapo eBay ones.
There's isn't a lack of reviews out there. This review of ten LED strips is a useful video and this guy explains his setup and the links on Amazon US.

Due to COVID & exchange rate, Yeelight LED strips are rather pricey (wifi) & associated with Xiaomi.
For strips, plenty on eBay, Amazon, Banggood, etc - most come from the same factories. When shipping returns to normal, you can get 5m RGB strips for as little as $10AUD from banggood + 10-15 for a controller.

didnt realize its sold out, but it might give you an idea on what i bought.
You can just grab any el cheapos on eBay and plug them into smart plugs of your choice.
