Looks like a nice deal, for a quite handy cleaning tool.
After I chatted up a Dyson rep on their website, they offered to supply me with a free 2nd filter with the purchase as well. Might be a common theme with this deal.

Even if we account for the currency exchange fluctuations in the last 2 months, which have caused V11 prices to go up to 1.1-1.3k as well? :(
Sub 400? When? The lowest price I could find for a V8 Animal was between $499-575.
edit: searched "Dyson V8 Animal" isntead of just V8 Animal and it came up - Good guys sale for $399.
Dyson V8 Animal Stick
My Monaro V8 had a stick shift and it was an animal !!!
Have these gone up in price? i purchased mine in November last year for $397.
Edit - Actually that was Black friday sales….but still.
Just do a search on here, a few different places including dyson official ebay store had them end of last year for sub 400
edit apparently i don't know how to reply to a comment :D
Wait for another sale, maybe in November again
Long time to wait if youve got a dirty house….
Tourist. :)
Not a good price, Greem85 see if you can cancel your order. A V10 can be had for around the same price from memory.
From where, I'd be keen to buy a V10 at this price.
from memory
Hi all,
We have the original (I think DC37?) and a V6. The V6 is noisier than the original, with an almost "shrill" sound.
Have they got any better (loudness or noise type) in the V8/9/10? I haven't been to a store and tried, but not sure if you'd even be able to side-by-side compare them all now.
My V6 battery hold is getting less these day, e.g. barely last for 8m or so… I am waiting for the V10 on sale patiently… :)
its been sub $400 a few times end of last year so not a good deal unfortunately
