20% off Storewide - TicWatch Pro 2020 $348.79, TicWatch E2 $191.19, TicWatch S2 $226.39 + Free Delivery @ Mobvoi

Mobvoi are having another 20% off sale for the next couple of days with the coupon stacking on most already on sale products. It'll also stack with the up to 10% offer when paying with Splitit installments.

The Ticwatch Pro 2020 is an excellent smartwatch and the bump to 1GB RAM has improved the speed quite significantly since Android Wear is memory intensive. Not to mention the NFC for payments and dual screen technology being awesome features.

Don't bother with people who think you should wait for a Snapdragon 3100 version (if ever?) as the ONLY difference it adds compared to the SD2100 is a small coprocessor that helps improve power efficiency. They're both using a 28nm 4-core ARM Cortex A7 CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz with the Adreno 304 GPU - literally no difference in processing power.

  • I'm after a fitness tracker purely for use while exercising (I prefer to wear a traditional watch at other times).
Are all their models basically the same in terms of fitness/sleep tracking? Or are would I be better off saving for something else if fitness tracking accuracy is my concern?

    • Miband is exceptional value

      • Thanks, I see that keep popping up in reviews as a super budget alternative but haven't heard how the sensors compare to other watches. Any idea?
I'll go look up some more reviews to see if I can find out for myself as well.

        • They seem really good to me.

I have had mine for a few months now and seems really good, especially for the price, it was only $50 ish delivered from amazon.

But this is the only smart watch / device I have owned so can’t really compare it to the others.

      • Gosh I wish they'd hurry up and release their smart watch. I've been hanging out since December :/

  • Very tempted by the pro, purely for cgm use.

    Thanks op

    • +2

      Bugger it, bought.

      • Still hasn't shipped apparently :|

        • Shipped, now in Chullora purgatory

  • Disappointed that the 2020 version has such an old SoC when a new one has been available for such a long time.

    • What SoC?

      • The 2020 version is still using the Snapdragon 2100 SoC. The 3100 had been out for a while now. Mobvoi have just doubled the ram and decided to basically charge double the price for it.

        • So just a potential improvement in battery life? Would be more economical to release a whole new watch with it.

          • @Clear: They've toughened the watch a little bit, but other than that it's really not worth the extra money. You're better off buying a Samsung, Huawei or Fitbit for that money, even if it is last year's model. This 2020 model is just mobvoi getting greedy.

  • Hmmmm not true ABC sensors. Weird battery life metrics, 2 to 30 days is interesting…

    • If you switch to the LCD screen you get far longer than the AMOLED.

  • Is the S2 and E2 slowish also as it only has 512mb ram?

  • Still valid deal Got the Pro ended up being $307.64 (with Coupon, Splitit and new guest offer).
My dad bought same deal today and still valid for same price.
Ive had my watch for 2 days and very happy with it.
