  • Good deal, pistachios are cheaper than Costco (even when they are on special at Costco).

    • +6

      Costco pistachios are better quality.

  • +3

Still remember those good old day.

    • I know. It look like they raise the price every year; though I like Aldi's Pistachio.

      • -1

are the Roasted-salted 'Stachios big n plump and fresh like Coles'?

  • +8

Pistachio 1KG $18.99 is not bargain for me.

Worlworths has $20/kg for packed. 5% off gift card comes down to $19/kg. Plus points and no credit card fee, lol.

    • Can you give a link? I can’t find such bargain.

    • +3

Have fun with the 25 cents you save.

      • +2

        Deez nuts!

        • +2

There's all ways a person that says that.

    • -3

How much more time of yours will you spend to save 25 cents? You can earn 25 dollars easily in an hour, you know that?

      • +2

What? If anything, it's more effort to get this Aldi deal for the majority…

      • +2

How can I make $25 easily in an hour?
I’ve got 4 hours to spare today.

    • +1

My last few batches from Woolies have been rather poor quality. They are normally good but not these lots, to old and dried, they up feel like the dregs. The main Australia harvest is late Feb and March so maybe the bags I got were last year's.

  • +1

    Expensive

  • +4

Woolworths walnuts $16/kg this week; dry roasted premium mixed nuts also $20/kg (not sure of mix vs Aldi).

  • +3

Will be on the lookout in my next dumpster dive sesh :)

  • +1

750gr is already $12 at aldi. and its everyday price

  • +1

This doesn't sound like a deal?

    • +1

Don't worry about a few random people.

    • +1

Bro, Sunday today and we have work tomorrow and you still drinking? 😂

      • sharing is caring so here's some for you: 🍷
        🍻

    • You're probably being negged because the Aldi prices for pistachios, cashews, and almonds are better than Woolworths. You negged deal based only on the walnut prices.

      • -2

and would you sir pls share what the everyday prices for those other products are @Aldi?

        • I don't know. They are labelled as special buys, so I assume they are normally a little bit dearer. Regardless, I don't see your point.

    • +1

Didn't find the price discounted when I went in store; it's just bulk buy at same price per kg!! so shouldn't be a deal

but meh people here upvoting-like sheep- as soon as they see Aldi

  • +1

    For Aldi pistachios its roughly 600gm for $12 vs 1kg for $19 or … $2.00 per 100gm vs $1.90 per 100gm.

    Save 40c.

  • Aldi walnuts doesn’t taste good. It has a strange taste and I saw someone mentioned here as well.

    • +3

      They taste like snarsberries

    • +1

like they are overcooked or undersalted. Or maybe I'm thinking of the Drakes brand.

      • +4

Overcooked and lacking flavour? Sounds like Drake's music.

  • Love Macadamias but damn they are expensive

  • You can add in deal about saffron as well. Its at quiet good price even comparable to best sources of Saffron (Iran and India).
    $2.99 per 0.5gm.

Except saffron prices, other things which you posted are not actually a deal but regular prices.

  • +1

    Pretty standard price it seems?

  • Where's the deal?

I bought 750g of roasted and salted Aussie almonds for $10 at Woolies the other day?
    $13.33 per kg

  • +4

I bought the Almonds from Aldi a while back. They were not very good.

  • Are any of Aldi's nuts Australian? Or are they offshore?

    • I see a lot of them twice a week on new item sale days in Australia.

      Nuts.

  • -3

Wow! This deal is nuts! …I'll see myself out. :p

  • +1

    This deal is nuts

  • I went to ALDI Joondalup WA today 5 May and these were already on sale. Are they often early?
