It's a trick we're aware of, but many people doesn't care and just take it as it is. Or they are not aware of the difference and shrug it off.
Yep I agree and thanks for pointing out.
I think it needs to be highlighted that prices are different. (its is misleading and almost "false advertising")
I have not used menulog for delivery and would not have realised especially if it was a restaurant I hadn't frequently ordered at.So with free delivery it brings it down to normal delivery cost because grilld don't deliver on their own
Not aware of it. Thanks for pointing it out.
This is why Uber Eats and similar services have a clause that prevent this.
It's also why they're able to offer "free delivery" on menulog, which does not care.
And yet so many people still put the Uber tax into the price. I feel like reporting it, but I also don't want to lose some of these options from Uber. As it is my local turns off Uber during peak time so if you actually want lunch or dinner an hour either side of a normal time, you can't order from them.

Yes you can, just not through Uber
Also commbank rewards offer for grilled double stack
what's this?
Arguably off topic, but I'd prefer to know about shifty businesses before I support them. Used to love grill'd products until I found out they've systematically mistreated and underpaid their staff. I will never buy from them again.

You know something's wrong when McDonalds pays its employees more than Grill'd does.
Burgers are $2 more via menulog and chips 60c-70c compared to direct from my local store.
I know, they have to cover the 30% or whatever they pay to menulog, but I hate seeing 'free' delivery when in reality what you are buying has been marked up (and hidden) to cover the delivery!
I personally think all of these services should be forced to show the shop price and the 'surcharge' applied on top as separate values.
