EA/Dice announced that they will drop support for BF5 after one last update. So BF5 is currently on sale for $14.95 @Origin store. Not a bad game its no BF4 but its okay. The servers are still busy for most of the night. Better weapons and vehicles compared to BF1.

[As much as I hate to agree with such folk, in this instance they may have a ghost of a point. BFV didn't really feel much like WW2. But the hardcore WW2 nerds like me are off playing Hell Let Loose and Post Scriptum anyway…]

What are you talking about? I mean, hating on the game is fine and all but straight up lying isn’t. The only micro transactions are all cosmetic. I’ve played this game for 300 hours on Xbox.

It's not worth $15 tbh. They've discontinued it early so no new content will be introduced. Firestorm is completely dead in Oceania. Multiplayer is still alive but player base is shrinking rapidly.
I was so excited for firestorm but never could get a lobby even the week it came out :(
It was not a big loss, alot of Asian hackers in firestorm as they could get away with it and it had no spectator mode too
I went looking for this game on Twitch not long after release, i finally found it (sorting by popularity) a few games after Super Mario world. They really did ruin this franchise, I enjoyed BF4 but BF1 was terrible and IMO not what the battlefield community wanted.
COD warzone (plunder) is what Battlefield should feel like.
As a long term battlefield player, this game gave me a lot of heartache. I love battlefield. There’s no game like it. It’s big, beautiful, has lots of variety and has the best destruction physics of any large scale online shooter. I’ve tried many cod games but can never get into them due to how cartoony they feel. And that’s why dice messed up with this game. It was obviously rushed, the content was so slow and poor, they continually shot themselves in the feet with unnecessary changes and the game continues to have major unresolved issues (cheating, team balance, various bugs). Finally, the art direction just didn’t get you that feeling of playing ww2 (with the exception of the pacific maps).
Having said that, the gunplay in this game is the best of the battlefield series. Getting a long distance headshot and seeing your bulllet travel 500m to its target is awesome. This game also advances movement and makes the series much more fluid feeling. I still play this game and, at this price, it’s totally worth it. You’ll get your moneys worth at $15. At this point, the game is no longer being worked on with only 2 more patches coming, but it’s relatively stable and it’s still a lot of fun.
Just ignore the ridiculous screaming women and stupid cosmetics. Also the reeeeeeee of the community. They’re interminable with their whinging. The memes are fun though.
