Panasonic Lumix

Hi everybody, im looking for a panasonic lumix camera in the next few weeks. im situated in brisbane but dont mind buying online.

i like em cos they look cool and are resistant to the likely damage i will inflict on it, if there is another camera like this that im overlooking please point it out.

im chasing one without the gps feature. think its called FT2.

ur help is as always, greatly appreciated.

      that's a great price considering I bought the same one a few months back for a fair bit more.

      With summer coming up, it's an awesome camera :)

    You can turn off the GPS function if you end up with one that has it.

    same camera can be bought at HK based company www.citiwideonline.com/au/ (shipping extra but still cheaper than above), plus you can negotiate the free gift items.
    I bought my panasonic lumix from them 2 yrs ago. It was American version (vs European which has resctriction on length of video) and so is the charger. This is no issue for me. Camera works well. Happy with purchase.

    I am super happy with a Sony we bought (TX9). The new model (tx10) is waterproof/shockproof but looks a lot nicer than the lumix. These have cmos sensors - so good for indoor shots - I rarely need a flash even at night - hand held night shots turn out perfect. I really am amazed how good it is. I did have a Lumix before that.
    It uses SD cards, (can use sony mem cards as well) records full avchd not the lite version the lumix does. Lots of features.

    I am selling my hardly used FT2 with an extra battery pack! Send me a message if your interested Calam05. I was literally going to be posting it on ebay or gumtree within the next day or two, maybe you could save me the hassle.
