Yes, I could buy one and give it as a Mother's Day gift. If I were receiving this as a gift though, I would probably not appreciate any instant gratification, obviously.

Yeah I haven’t seen a bigger discount and I get the odd sale email from them since I bought one about 3 years ago. With occasional use, it is still as good as the day we got it. We are really happy with ours. Plenty of reasonably dense shade, sturdy, light, quick to put up and pack away and an Australian company. Can’t recommend enough.
Would you recommend going the larger size?
We have the medium size and for the three of us, there is plenty of room. So depends on what you need.
The issue is the warranty - It will be over when it breaks

Yaaassss I have been waiting to purchase one of these! :) just bought a medium size one, have the costco tommy bahama chairs to try out when the weather gets better:)
Probably ok for Queensland, but anywhere south of there is going to struggle to find a use for this over the next few months.
