For those with a Virgin Mobile postpaid account. They've added a new web browsing plan to add to your mobile. This lets you surf the web on your phone, or if your phone has the ability, you can use your phone as a modem with your computer/laptop.
new 1GB - $15 per month
also 300MB - $10 per month
also 50MB - $5 per month
It's only for post paid. From their site "To get mobile browsing with us, you need to be a post-paid customer (if you get a monthly bill, that’s you!)." Their cheapest post paid plan is $20 per month for $50 credit, but this can go fairly quickly with a 40c call connection and 40c per 30sec rate (but it's free to call and sms other Virgin customers).
Do you have to pay extra if go over 1GB?
Yeah, 1.5 cents per KB. Probably best not to go over.
