I had some furniture roughly two years old which was damaged and insurance company wants receipts which I don’t have just wondering what I can do.

Don’t have statement and have sent them photos of furniture and the exact same thing from the shop with price etc
Imagine needing proof of purchase, how dare they.
There are more imitation furniture than there are originals.
Lookalike furniture are a fraction of the price.

The store you bought it from might have a copy of the receipt - try contacting them and see if they can email you a copy

They need to know the amount of the claim
Usually they ask you to find something similar and submit it with your claim
credit card statement, proof of the same product for sale. etc
