You attach one Joy-Con to the Ring and strap to your thigh.
The Joy-Con has sensor and accelerometer which can detect movement. The ring itself has a sensor all throughout it that senses how much you’re squeezing or pulling and then it sends that information to the Joy-Oon which sends it to the Nintendo Switch.

What about the heaviness? Is it the same between levels? Or does it adjust itself making it heavier somehow depending on level?
Also do they use rechargeable battery?
Level in the game is increased based on intensity (higher level = More action require).
The Ring is powered by the Joy-Con itself.
It's not heavy, you use the ring to squeeze and pull apart depending on the action. The ring is very well built so there is a lot of tension, you will be hard-pressed to break it. It is these actions combined with stretching and running which gives you a lot of workout!
