      I bought one of these a few weeks ago for my 13" 2019 MacBook Pro…it certainly supports pass through charging, and in general the dongle works well - WHEN IT WORKS, which is not all the time (I only gave it 4 star rating - it's just not consistent).

      The HDMI out was particularly touchy. as part of #WFH I was trying to drive two external 24" 1080P monitors at 60Hz. Sometimes it worked, others it didn't - quite frustrating.

      I've only got a 61W charger and that charged the laptop - sorry, I don't have anything to measure the current so can't say if it passes through all the current etc

        Also bought a few weeks ago for 13" 2019 MacBook Pro… HDMI out only worked when the adaptor was plugged in the reverse way from what it was intended. (That is it didn't sit flush with the laptop but stuck out the top). Blue light indicating power didn't show otherwise. Very strange.

  I plan to use this with MacBook Pro 15 2019 from recent Officeworks deal. I have 2 dell u2719dc monitors and Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Will this work with 2 monitors- 1 HDMI and the other via thunderbolt usb-c while charging the laptop via the monitor usb-c? I want extended monitor setup
