My Westpac mobile lender promised to match the price of one broker for me. She told me to forward the broker's email last night (Friday night) and said will get back to me. Anyone from Westpac can tell me whether the pricing team work on the weekend, as I want to give the mobile lender a chance, but if she cannot match it, I will have to go with the broker. I need to act quickly as the application closes 30 April for the 2k refinance cashback. Thanks guys.

It's the weekend, they're closed so he can't call them to ask if they're closed or not.

Westpac recent offer to me was offensively bad. My 2 year fixed period ends next month and their offer was basically the same as it was 2 years ago (3.78). They were willing to match ANZ's offer of 2.12 fixed for 2 years but ANZ are offering $4K cashback too and I rather reward the ones who give the best deal not the one who matches.
What's your new Anz rate? 2.12%? I cant find this anywhere. Thanks.
Yeah I double checked and it is 2.19%.
What's the benefit in going direct if the broker has already offered you what you're trying to get the bank to match?
I contacted both of them at the same time but the broker didnt get back to me after 5 days later whilst the bank has communicated with me back and forth. I heard banks process applications faster too.
