So I was looking to buy a gk61 keyboard and this deal off AliExpress popped up for about 65 dollars with shipping. I often avoid aliexpress so was just scared about getting a potentially cheaper/fake version of the gk61. If anyone could offer advice to buy or not itd be much appreciated.

I hear ya. I have a package that was posted EMS, but it hasn't even reached Australia yet. Debating at what point I ask for a refund. I'm not in a hurry for it, and I want to be fair to the seller who posted it the next day after ordering.

Agree with the other commenter that Aliexpress shipping times have been a bit hit and miss lately. In addition, a warning that these are gateron LC/Optical switches from what I can see in the description, meaning they're only hot swappable with other gateron optical switches i.e. not compatible with cherry, kailh if you want to swap them in the future.
Aliexpress economy shipping is a real disaster right now. Not sure what the real situation in China is right now as they report a week without deaths but the mail is banked up ridiculously. I have one package that was sent Mar 27th, hasn't left China yet but more than 30 internal Chinese movements. It's not just one, there are about 12 packages in limbo right now. Many are reaching the Ali cutoff without having left China yet. Some have left China but not landed in Australia within a month, so who knows. I don't think it will improve until passenger aircraft start up in numbers again. Not sure about Australian quarantines or Aus Post sorting and delivery issues. Everything has gone bizarro. Given packaging standards from Ali are pretty iffy, I'm expecting carnage if anything finally arrives.
