    SONIQ's high standards

    I emailed this company twice in December last year asking about their TVs. Never got a reply. If they cant be bothered with replying when they want me money, what makes you thinkg they would be of any help after they get it?

      Bought a Soniq 55" once a few years ago.
      Half the screen died within the first few days. Sent a picture of the screen and they agreed warranty no hassle.

      My memory is limited but I recall it being late in the week, and they had sent me a new replacement which I received by the Monday. They sent a courier to pick up the old faulty one a few days after receiving the replacement.
      So personally I've had a good experience with their after purchase support.

      However the TV itself I found the input lag garbage for games and couldn't stand the software. I don't have it anymore as I gave it to a family member. It's still running well enough for them.

      • In other words, YMMV.

        • That

  • I have a gut feeling this 600 dollar UHD TV has the same panel as the $300 UHD TVs

    This model is from 2015.

      2014 I believe! Ex JB code debunker:

      [T2=refurb] [U=resolution, UHD] [65=panel size] [TX=panel type/model] [14=product year] [A=panel source, typically A B or C depending on panel vendor]

    Looks like a overpriced (refurbed) POS

  • No more 3D TV after 2017.

  • If it's refurbed, it's possible it no longer has a 3d capable screen.

    • I'm an out of touch n00b w/ regards to 3D, did they disable it with a software update or something? Otherwise how would only the 3D disappear but the panel still work?

      • A lot of 3d TVs that have recently had their screens replaced, were replaced with regular screens since no 3d panels exist to put back in.

        Not sure with these ones since you won't be able to tell what was refurbed but just a heads up to perhaps ask first.
