Always been a big fan of Salomon shoes for the last 20 years. Saw these great prices on their Australian Ebay Store with most shoes at 50% off. Some good deals on apparel as well. Shipping seems to be a flat fee of $10 for all items but as soon as I add any second item from the store, it shows up as free!

How does the shoe fit? I always struggle to find one easily due to having wide feet :(
They have some models made for wide feet, look for the "Wide" in the title / description. If it doesn't have the wide specification I'd say it won't be a good fit as their normal shoes are good for narrow to normal width feet.
I have wide feet (EE) also and standard Salomon shoes and boots are far too narrow.
The WIDE fit Ultra above is a snug but comfortable fit (I have the black version). Lightweight, sturdy, comfortable boot which gets excellent reviews iirc.
Excellent boot at a great price imo - IF you can find your size on the Ebay store. Currently they only have 9,9.5 and 11 UK.
I found one size up was required (I'm usually 9, needed UK10 in these). Choose at least half a size up is my recommendation.
The Outlet has more sizes but for ~$46 more ($165 V $119)! Still a decent price.

Wide shoes are getting hard to find. Loved Nike Structure Bowerman wide shoes, haven't found anything close in 3 years now :(

Good grippy shoes. Can't be resoled though so you just have to chuck them when they're worn. That's what i really dislike about them.
Resoling is like tyre retreading. Not the same. Compromises the dynamic and performance of the shoe.
By the time the sole is worn out I would think the whole thing would no longer give you support anyway.
It isn’t as though hiking shoes are like RMs.

Like this I got a pair a year ago at $200 now they are $100 or so. Been great shoes and still going well with moderate weekly outdoor use.
Wonder if this indicates a few updates to the lineup.
Speedcross4 for $100 is pretty good if you like the obnoxious colourways.
