Been looking at this ultrawide for the past week or so.
It doesn't seem like it's available anywhere else or than Bing Lee.
How does this monitor compare to X34P?
I am using an 29' 1080p 60Hz ultra-wide from LG, would the UM.CX0SA.P03 be a decent upgrade?
Holy heck, this is the first I've heard of this monitor. It looks like it might even literally the replacement for the X34P because the model number for the X34P is UM.CX0SA.P02 and it's 2 years old now. It's also better in almost every way with fake HDR, faster refresh, lower response time, all while being $400 cheaper than the X34P. The only issues I see with it is the lack of native G-Sync (not an issue with Freesync), it's flat not curved, and looks like Freesync 1 instead of 2!
The curve thing is a pretty big one for me, so I'm not sure if I'd go this over a X34P - but definitely looks very good for the price. Unfortunately I can't find any reviews on it at all.
In terms of an upgrade for you, it would be fairly significant. You'd be going from ~95PPI to ~109PPI so higher density while still also being larger. And you really do notice the difference a lot at higher refresh rates. Keep in mind that it's around an 80% increase in the number of pixels you'll be displaying at full 3440x1440 resolution compared to 2560x1080, so you will need a very respectable graphics card to pump that out at native resolution at a high frame rate.
