Perfect for those Virgin pilots now that they have some free time on their hands. Or is that too soon?

This made me laugh way too loud but I guess ozbargain can't take a joke.

        **Can't take a yoke.

Some nerds do have sex you know.

  • Bit too early for me, I'll need a whole new setup for Flight Simulator 2020!

    • What are you leaning towards at the moment?
I'm still using my Cessna yoke (logitech from back in the day)

      • Honestly I have no idea, I haven't owned a joystick for years, last one I purchased was the Saitek X-51 and I hated how loose/sloppy it felt. Trying to decide whether I go HOTAS again, or whether I should look at an actual Yoke and throttle setup?

I gave the new X-plane - Vulcan mode a try the other day, it was running sweet especially for an AMD GPU

I think FS is all the flying most us will be doing this year!

    • Supposed to be flying out in a few weeks to Singapore and Maldives.. :'(

  • I'm prepared to go all in for gear with the upcoming release of FS2020. New PC, monitors and control equipment etc.
Does anyone actually have this with their current sim set? Is it enough to have a good flight experience or do you wish you had something more advanced?

    • The Honeycomb isn't top of the line, but I think the next level of quality is the Yoko, which around US$1000/EUR1000. https://www.flightsimwebshop.com/en/virtual-fly-yoko-the-yok…

      Too rich for my blood.

      • Thanks for your reply. I have looked at the Yoko before but as you mentioned there is a big price jump. I will have to weigh it up against my whole system and the potential budget at the time. The system I want could get up to $6k, if I settle on a cheaper system then the Honeycomb might do.
